Spain’s Mohamed Katir, who is currently serving a two-year ban through February 6th 2026 for three Whereabouts Failures in a 12-month period, was banned four years for tampering. The four year ban started in June 12th will run concurrently with his current suspension. Now banned until February 2028.

My oh my! Such a good deep dive into the racket that is "professional" running. I use quotes because if you're an athlete making less than 50-60k and you're paying 15% to an agent I barely think you qualify as a professional in 2024. Information is out there more than ever!

BREAKING: Newly-elected Turkish Athletics Federation President Ahmet Karadag announced Türkiye's two-year long manipulation ban lifted by World Athletics. The ban was in effect since September 2022 due to result manipulation in a relay race.

👀 The "Loughborough Indoor Pole Vault Memorial" on Sunday 12 January has been added to the World Indoor Tour calendar on the World Athletics website. It's the first (and currently only) British meeting on the calendar.
