Can’t shake the GOAT 😆 Even a kamikaze first 400m split of 60.5 by Gudaf Tsegay couldn’t rattle Faith Kipyegon, who cruises to her second ATHLOS NYC title with a 4:17.78 mile victory. Tsegay hangs on for second in 4:19.75, miles ahead of the chase pack where Nikki Hiltz kicks to third in 4:32.51.

Two years undefeated and counting 🐐 Long jump queen Tara Davis-Woodhall continues her epic streak of victories stretching back to 2023, triumphing in even the unconventional format of ATHLOS NYC’s two-day, seven-round competition with a 7.13m leap on her final attempt to take the crown.

DOMINANCE ON DISPLAY 🙌 Keely Hodgkinson’s late start to the season helped her get to October in great shape, gapping the entire field in the final lap of the 800m at ATHLOS NYC to claim the victory in 1:56.53.

Nobody gets a bag like our girl Brittany Brown 🤑 Brittany Brown wins the ATHLOS NYC 100m in 10.99, holding off Jacious Sears (11.01) by a step the whole way down the straightaway to claim her first big prize of the night.

3x Olympian, legendary coach Bill Dellinger has passed away at 91 years old. Dellinger won bronze in the 5000m at the 1964 Olympics and was both an athlete & coach at the University of Oregon, where he served as head coach from 1972-1998. As a coach, he won 5 NCAA titles & guided 108 All-Americans.

She shot for the moon and landed among the stars 🚀 Faith Kipyegon’s Breaking4 mile attempt comes up short as she clocks a 4:06.42 time trial, 1.22 seconds faster than her 2023 official world record. Kipyegon hit 400m in 1:00.20, 800m in 2:00.63, and 1200m in 3:01.84 en route to her 4:06 finish.

Meet organizers announced that the 400m hurdles world record holder and 2x Olympic champion will make her debut at the meet on July 5th. The 400m has been added to the meet as a non-Diamond Discipline. She ran her personal best of 48.74 at Hayward Field at the 2023 U.S. Outdoor Championships.
