A year ago, I was approved to begin taking #Zepbound (Tirzepatide), a GLP-1 agonist for weight loss. I’ve lost over 80 pounds in the last year, and I’ve never felt better. This made sense for me, my body, and my health goals - it won’t for everybody. But just some gratitude for science today.

Thank goodness it’s Andor day. Tuesday finally has a redeeming quality.

Hear me out: High Republic era show a la Star Trek: Discovery that focuses on the crew of a Republic Defense Force ship that (eventually) gets stuck behind the Stormwall. Maybe a Jedi or two on board with them, or just a Padawan. Every time I watch Discovery, I wish #starwars had an equivalent show.

Okay. Been really struggling with my mental health in light of everything going on in the world, and as someone who has always been a champion of hope, it’s been rough. AND I also refuse to give up. The obnoxious thing about hope is that it’s really really hard to truly kill.

I really wish Dems would get up and start throwing hands. Enough is enough. Stop restricting yourselves to rules of engagement the other side is already ignoring.

On whole, I am dealing with the onslaught of horrendous news here in America pretty well. But some days I wake up to that familiar sense of doom from the first time around and I say a little thank you to my Prozac for doing some heavy lifting. It’s not enough, but it definitely helps.
