The Intersectional Community Scorecard explained The Intersectional Community Scorecard (ICSC) empowers marginalised young people to advocate for their sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) by bridging the critical gap between their unique needs and existing health services. Young people face diverse challenges based on intersecting factors such as gender, age, ability, socioeconomic status and geographic location. These overlapping vulnerabilities often mean vital SRH services remain inaccessible, leading to increased rates of unintended pregnancies, STIs, unsafe abortions and limited access to comprehensive information. The ICSC works by enabling youth to connect with health service providers and assess, score and improve the availability, accessibility, acceptability and quality of local SRH services—ensuring no one is left behind. Developed by VSO under the Make Way programme, this resource is part of a comprehensive intersectional advocacy toolkit for SRHR.
