This looks consistent with (official) reports of 10-20 m run-ups in Kamchatka/Okhotsk. With complex topo/bathy short wavelength features like the waves seen here can develop and superimpose on the long period tsunami. We've seen this in other places. Time will tell if this can be verified

A rule of thumb for tsunamis is that in open ocean, they move at similar speeds to commercial airliners. If you're ever curious how long it would take for a tsunami to get from one place to another, look up the duration of a similar-length flight.

Shaking duration for a magnitude Mw 8.8 earthquake (Maule) was 3 minutes. Big subduction zone earthquakes do not end quickly--keep that in mind when evaluating videos that claim to be from today's 8.8 Mw magnitude earthquake.
