I spent too much time working on these clouds. But they still don't seem quite right. I am using the #UFO50 palette, so I am limited in the colors I can choose. I can't make it white since the paint is white. I am sort of trying to emulate these clouds from SMB3. any advice #pixelart #gamedev ?

The unexpected feedback I got from posting a clip of my game on the #UFO50 discord was that the sounds were too loud. It was something I would've realized on my own. I'm now learning about audio mixers and groups. There's so many little things which make up a game! #gamedev

@walaber.com 's Parking Garage Rally Circuit has ruined parking garages for me. I was driving through a mall spiral parking garage and found myself wishing I could drift into it and then use the boost to make it to the only available spot! Also, I follow the dev streams which are delightful!

Just went back to world 2 in @letibus.bsky.social ‘s Lok digital to see if I could use the TA Keyword there (which I “discovered” in World 3) Turns out it was possible the whole time. I wonder what other keywords are hidden in plain sight 🤔 Maybe: TADA!

Just got Lok by @letibus.bsky.social and I’m loving it so far! The puzzles and rules seem so complicated and yet I’m able to learn them so easily and made it all the way to the third world. I’m always surprised that I managed to done them so fast.

Gonna stop using the word "balance" and start using the word "tuning." Whenever I talk about "balance", I get pulled into conversations about "overbalancing" and how "balance isn't that important actually"--which feel like non-sequitors to me. But I think I've just been using the wrong word.
