if there's one thing that's remained stunning about the legend of zelda: majora's mask from the n64 entry to the 3ds remake to this today, it's the class of bright and dark colors for an unsettling tone wanted to capture that as best i could for this month's game club drawing :)

I had no idea there was a version of the Legendary Deck-Building Game centred around James Bond until finding a "used" copy today for ten bucks I say "used" because the cards were all unopened so Lucky me I guess!

Got my first paycheck from new job It's only a little less than half of a full paycheck since I started in the middle of a pay period but all indications are that I'm making a good chunk more than my last job Can't wait to start actually saving some of it

I know I'm wishy-washy and wibbly-wobbly about all sorts of things so it does feel nice to have drawn something and gone "Holy shit, yes, I should absolutely do more of that specifically" Instead of just "that's neat, I'll keep doing it for a while, see how it shakes out"

Since Nintendo finally added the Super Metroid soundtrack to its music app, it reminded me I never shared the Bionicle Samus I jury-rigged a couple of years ago. I'm hoping the Lego/Nintendo partnership starts expanding beyond Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon next year.

Someone patched GIMP to look and feel exactly like Adobe Photoshop. Same keyboard shortcuts. Same tool layout. Same everything. It's called PhotoGIMP and it's free.

Playing Blue Prince, I couldn't stop thinking about what is clearly the main inspiration for the game: "Maze: Solve the World's Most Challenging Puzzle", by Christopher Manson (1985). A puzzle book so interesting and complex that some of its mysteries are still to be deciphered.
