It's three kingfisher images in different light today. The first was taken on a lovely day in the middle of September. The sun was just slightly to one side of the hide. I actually visited three times in a row when the bird arrived just as I was setting up my gear. Luckily she stuck around for me 😊

It's not easy with blind Lizzie purring on my lap and Bubu wanting me to switch to YouTube, but I will try and post three images. This was Dungeness B power station with a full moon rising. I had actually taken the sun setting behind Prospect Cottage and had a mad dash to get here in time 🙂

Bubu (cat) has now been glued to CAT TV on my PC monitor for (checks YouTube timer...) 3 and a half hours. He's just been in the kitchen for early chicken supper and is back with me in the study. No wonder I'm not getting my kingfishers finished! 😄

It's been... one of THOSE days. It started going pear-shaped first thing when we checked the llama cam to see a Japanese sika deer trapped in one of our fields. He was still there once we'd done the cats and ferrets, but no hope of driving him into the garden through the yard...
