Don't think I brought this up, but I played my first game of Saga in December. My Late Romans Vs Jomsvikings. The mission? Capture or rescue the priest in the center. It was a glorious small battle. The late Romans were able to grab hold of the priest, and slaughter most of the Jomsvikings.

Had a wonderful day visiting Portsmouth Historic Dockyards. But the highlight was seeing the Mary Rose. Tragically, however, I was so entranced by the whole place that I forgot to take photos. Apologies @maryrosemuseum.bsky.social for this discretion, I'll try on my next visit😅

AGE OF WARLORDS Pitched Battle Scenario Late Romans Vs Normans Turn 1: Movement Phase. The Norman juggernaut surges forward. The Late Romans respond by moving the light cavalry forward to loose their bows, while the infantry spread themselves out and move closer to each other, bracing for impact.

Bout time I did this... A solo match played by me of a Pitched Battle using The Age of Warlords ruleset. It was an unbalanced match between Late Romans and Normans. All of these models are the painted parts of these two armies, so I decided to give them a proper fight.

Something different this time, an N gauge kit for a BR Standard 4 of the 75000 series by Langley Models. A beautiful metal body, really well designed, both main body and tender, as well as all the parts for it. Just need to find a Black 5 chassis that runs to fix it in place, but first paint it.
