2025 was weird. Stream kinda went nowhere after a little boost at first when I transitioned to VTubing. Didn't really expect much change given the last five years of streaming have essentially kept me in the same place, with very minute ups and downs.

It is so cool that Aaron Rodgers became a super huge actual loser after he turned to the dark side. Ever since he wigged out about that Covid vaccine, made himself a martyr, and chose up sides with RFK Jr., he just can't stop losing and letting people down. Great lesson for the kids, thanks man.

It's been about a week of thought and introspection and I'm not seeing a whole lot of reasons to rush back to streaming yet, to be honest.

Knowing that I've only had meaningful interactions with <1% of the people I know who stream because I'm not a big stream watcher myself shows the inherent loneliness in the streaming sphere when you don't have the mental bandwidth or capacity to be literally everywhere all the time

Been staying off Bluesky for the most part during this break because all I see on my feed is streaming stuff lol

Like I'm sure this feels like pointless and annoying whining to 99.9% of people at this point so feel free to just ignore it. I wish I could succeed in a stronger way at streaming but it feels like there's no path forward in it for me.

Think I've hit the reasonable limit of what I can accomplish on Twitch at this point and it's hard to look at it that way but I think the five years on the same plateau basically prove it. Huh. Weird thing to try and come to terms with but I think that's the reality of where things are.
