I drove an hour and a half today for my kid’s orthodontist appointment that lasted less than 10 minutes. Home > school > ortho > home Ortho moved offices from 10 minutes from our house to 30 minutes from our house mid-treatment. We like her but I hate this situation.

An hour ago I got up to do something and immediately forgot what it was. I sat back down and retraced my mental steps and still nothing. At least I know it was an hour ago.

Saw the very upsetting aftermath of a pedestrian hit by a driver today on Missouri Ave NW in Brightwood. An MPD officer was sitting with the female victim in the crosswalk, holding her, as a fire truck pulled up. It appeared her foot had been torn off. Please be safe, neighbors 💔

My teen was at his dad’s last night and needed something at my house before school this morning. His dad had already left for the day and I was still asleep. Kiddo got an e-CaBi and biked to my house (1 mile), got his stuff, and then biked to school (5 miles). Practically adulting! #bikedc
