we released the new @e18e.dev ESLint plugin today! 🎉 this comes with 3 categories of rules: modernisation, performance, replacements it also works with oxlint and most of the rules have auto-fixes 🛠️ try it out and let us know any feedback/rule suggestions in discord/bsky/github!

Looking into Arri Schema and its compile function is server-only. I feel like this just screams to be done at build time to me so it can be used on the client as well. Anyone wants to write a vite-plugin real quick? :D

Just read about "Tracked Queries" in @tanstack.com's react-query and I feel like that just sounds like @vuejs.org. Automatic dependency tracking and fine grained reactivity. Guess, its a good concept, isnt it? :P

Two days ago I held my first little talk at a local Vue Meetup in Berlin. The title was "My Road to Open Source" and how I ended up becoming the maintainer of svg.js over night. It was fun to engage with people about that topic. It also showed that I want more!!

My first projects all started because of svg.js. Turns out a lot of people want to draw something with svg and svg.js' plugins are a good starting point

If you check the Vite 6.0 changelog, you'll find the "feat: environment API" commit. It doesn't stand out, but it is the most extensive refactoring we've done to Vite's codebase since Evan's famous Vite 2.0 sprint. It's hard to find a file that wasn't modified. github.com/vitejs/vite/...

Picocolors author here. I'm still amazed every time I see another PR replacing things with picocolors. It's the first time my project growth really without my involvement and I'm happy that so many people see value in it!

Does anyone of you folks still use firebase? I wrote a small script a while ago to generate firebase access rules from a zod schema and I wonder if anyone needs something like that. Should I open source it?

I played an online game and tried using bb-codes for websites. That obviously didn't work. An older friend then gave me a school book with one page of html-tags. That lit the spark. I got a book from my teacher after and then learned about selfhtml (best german ressource back then).

I am thinking about getting a dev domain for my handle. I own the *.de domain but it feels kinda lame seeing all this cool dev handles 😄
