The lies from Karoline Leavitt and this Administration are astounding. They claim they are only interested in immigrants with criminal convictions. So where are the warrants? Why is ICE stopping random people on the streets? Why are they going door to door? It’s a lie.

If you’re going on tv to talk about the ICE executions in Minneapolis please don’t talk about body cams as a solution. It’s all on video and the feds are still lying and cops regularly turn them off when there’s a conflict. Also the Feds refuse to be accountable. #ICE

While this is for new organizers from @prisonculture.bsky.social it’s an excellent reminder to veteran organizers. In these times (see why I did there?) we must all be grounded in the hope of what’s possible so we can continue to work for it and build it.

I think a lot of us get hope wrong. Hope, I do not believe, is an emotion. In fact, hope makes space for lots of emotions to exist alongside it. You can DO hope scared, angry, sad etc... Hope doesn't find us. We make hope through action and struggle. It's a practice of living and is re-made daily.

Gotta say it. The hashtag #ICEOutForGood was made to appease people scared to say Abolish ICE out of fear of being accused of being down with abolition. People saw the heat the defund movement took. If they’re out, where are they going?

So much analysis of the video of the murder of Renee Wood. A narrative was spun with no evidence to convince us that there was no wrongdoing. Then Vance said the ICE agent has absolute immunity anyway. The video analysis won’t change their lies nor the minds of those who believe anything they say.

The continuous reference by Vance to Renee Good as that woman shows how they have no compassion and quickly dehumanize people. It’s offensive as hell

Keep this energy for killings by cops too. The culture of policing (power driven) creates the opportunity for reckless disregard of life like what we saw today. The Trump Admin encourages this wild behavior. Remember what ICE did in Chicago? They also want to take down those who challenge them.

I am impeaching Secretary Kristi Noem, who is an incompetent leader and a disgrace to our democracy. She wreaked havoc in the Chicagoland area and has brought her reign of terror to Minneapolis. One of her rogue ICE agents shot and killed an innocent woman today. It must come to an end.

Of course. Justice Alito pauses decision in TX redistricting case so now it goes to full court who will enjoin it. But that means it will go back for full trial. It’s so obvious this shouldn’t move forward it’s too late to redistrict AND it’s an unlawful effort to get rid of minority districts.

When asked by an ABC News reporter about Epstein in Oval office meeting with Saudi Crown Prince, Trump tells the reporter. “You’re a terrible person. A terrible reporter.” He goes on to say ABC News’ license should be revoked.

The immigration system is a civil system, not a criminal one. But this administration isn’t treating it that way, and they’re militarizing our communities and terrorizing people of all statuses in the process.

Amazed at some of the discourse among Black New Yorkers (people I grew up with) about how Mamdani’s socialist ideas will destroy NY and they will never get done. These are working class people thinking the status quo of a city where only the rich thrive is better than an economy for all?
