Apparently in Finland, PhD graduates get a freakin' sword! And their hat looks way better than the Canadian one!

Here’s how to get classified information from the current government. Remember chain emails? Chain email + phone number = get into contact list. Increase your chances of being added to secret discussions.

A lot of tech people, particularly more junior folks, are looking for jobs right now. A short but important note for them: newcomers should generally ignore career advice from people who've been in the field longer than 10 or 15 years.

Beware tech career advice from old heads - Jacob Kaplan-Moss
If you’re new to tech – say, less than 5 years in the field – you should take career advice from people who’ve been in the industry more than 10-15 years with enormous skepticism.

If you missed the Kickstarter, my newest book Exit Strategy is now available on Amazon (paperback and Kindle). If you've already read the book, I would really appreciate a 5-star rating and/or review 🙏🏻 RTs also appreciated.

I've occasionally seen Europeans end up in this kind of situation when they cross from Mexico, but usually it's because they haven't followed the waiver process correctly to be entering from a land border. Sounds like this woman had all her docs straight and is somehow still in custody a month later

To be more precise: 1. Coding is usually a skill issue. 2. Marketing is usually an effort issue / mental block. If you're a good coder you literally just have to force yourself to try on the marketing side, and be open to learning.
