Just got a press release from ICE saying that an officer shot and killed someone in Chicago. It says that the officer fired after getting dragged by a car. (fwiw, we've seen Border Patrol lie about this in the past in use of force cases, so I'm waiting to see video/witness statements)

I just talked to my local supermarket's manager because it's Tuesday and I noticed that a lot of their shelves are pretty bare. He told me that they are having issues with some food distributors getting supply and also that the meat section is being hit hard re: tariffs on beef.

All of the letters were returned to sender, saying they're no longer in custody. Detainee locator is crashing when I try to search them but they still have hearings at Otay... 👀
