FYI - put a piece of greaseproof paper over the chicken and then the lid and it goes in for an hour at 200°C or 180°C fan, after an hour remove the lid and paper, spoon some of the liquid from the pot over the bird and then stick it back in for another 30-40 mins without the lid, you won't regret it

the nights are drawing in and it's cold out there, so time for my special one pot chicken, all prepped and ready to go go go...

match 24, 8-a-side, played CDM and had probably my best game since my long gone teenage years; read most of the opposition attacks to snuff them out early, plenty of neat small passing around and some very nice switch balls to the wings, and a couple of killer forward passes for good measure ⚽️

both cats have worked out how to come and go as they please via the microchip cat flap and I couldn't be happier for them (less dashing around and fewer indoor zoomies)
