British power sockets may appear to be overengineered, but at the weekend I was very glad for one feature - individual socket switches. My charger broke, and exposed live wiring. I could switch off the socket before getting anywhere close to those wires. Phew!

The microwave clock on this floor of the office is an hour out! I was about to correct it when I realised… it’s going to be correct in just three weeks’ time anyway, no point changing it now!

Just had a "Merry Christmas" from @flynorse.com who cancelled my transatlantic flight 16 days before departure - just outside the point where they have to find alternatives, leaving a refund (or credit) the only option. Of course all alternative flights are expensive this close to departure...

ADHD consultation concluded I have some traits of inattention and hyperactivity in adulthood, but not enough persistence from childhood to warrant an ADHD diagnosis. Unsure where to go from here. Second opinion? Trying to find more childhood examples? Look at an ASD (Autism) referral?
