So...I did a thing, and applied to DJ at an international con this summer. Which is crazy even by my standards, and that's certainly saying something. The die is cast, and in a few weeks I'll know the result! 😜

Reflective of the greater amount and variety of performing I do lately, I've been submitting myself to rather a lot of auditions - most live, some recorded. Today, I have a classical audition, and within weeks I expect to have a techno audition. Which is a bit of a contrast. 😜

No break for the Badwolf: After consecutively throwing myself into Scotiacon, and then into a show, I had exactly one day yesterday to myself... Before today beginning my next project, and then in two days beginning yet another one, on top of the one ongoing project I'm already working on. 😝

As some of you may know, and others may have guessed, I'm a big fan of Gilbert & Sullivan. 🎶 This past week, I went straight from ScotiaCon into a show run for our latest musical and the latest furry takeover of the theatre. And what a wild and aesthetic week it's been! 😁

This weekend is a special holiday, the one from which the month of February gets its name: Lupercalia, the festival of wolves! 🐺 …what? Oh, you were thinking of the other thing, the one related to love? Actually, it’s the same holiday, that evolved over the years into the modern Valentine’s Day. 😉

This is the first time I've been alone since leaving @scotiacon.bsky.social and that means it's time for me to say goodbye, emotionally. Inevitably, that meant a few tears. It may be a long time before I can return. For now, it's over - and I'm left with all the good feels and happy memories.

Wolves and huskies are both winter-type animals, which might explain why @havok.bark.supply and I could be found outdoors at @scotiacon.bsky.social 😜 (This might also be explained by the nice cool weather!)

Today is the first day in a week I haven't had to get up before dawn to catch an early train, or to go down to the lobby to wolf down a fry-up in order to fuel a day busy with activity. 😜

And now, eight hours after leaving @scotiacon.bsky.social I'm heading up for a dress rehearsal for my next show - which opens tomorrow. This represents a level of scheduling insanity well beyond what's usual even for me. 😜 It means I'll be riding the con high as I step on stage, though...
