Achievement unlocked: a long-haul flight in a short-haul aircraft. 😜 The latest trend is to use longrange versions of narrowbody aircraft like the A321 for intercontinental journeys. It's a different feeling, definitely less space and less onboard service, though it's not so bad overall.

I’ve never taken a train trip across the kingdom in first class. Am I missing anything here? What do you think? 😜

Recent circumstances have prompted me to consider carefully what does, and does not, bring joy. If I can’t dream beyond the present, nor desire something greater, nor even wish for something more, then all that’s left is to remain within an easy comfort zone. And that isn’t what I want for myself.

Recently, I wrote a question on a piece of paper, which I committed to fire. It was a question that was important to me, made out to nobody in particular, rather a general question to the universe. I've now received an answer. It...isn't the answer I was hoping for.

One of the genres I like to mix, especially in summer, is disco. 🎶

 For this, I usually choose groovy, funky tracks from classic disco, modern nu-disco, and retro and modern house.

Channeling my inner railfur today by taking a ride on the Docklands Light Railway through Easy London. It’s actually quite nice out: not too hot as to be sweltering, and with nice breezes.

The urge to book a flight to literally anywhere in the Arctic Circle increases...😜 The far north of Norway is looking mighty attractive right about now.

Film and cinema are powerful elements of culture! Think about it: it’s been 87 years - nearly a full century! - since it was first shown on film… And today, we still get the reference, of the farmhouse spinning in the tornado. And we still know that when it lands, we won’t be in Kansas anymore. 😜

I know I've just finished a show, but this week I have to spend still deep in music: I'm auditioning for a big role this weekend. This will be the largest role I've ever gone for in a musical, and although it won't be easy, I do think I have a real shot at this. So I'm giving it my best.

I've been coming to ConFuzzled since 2018, a decade into its existence. Now I'm excited at the prospect of being with ConFuzzled as it soon comes into its third decade. What a wonderful community, built around such an awesome event, this is. ❤️

Just north of London is a magic portal, stepping through which transports and transforms you. Today, I step through the portal, and it will be taking me back decades in time, and to the city of Seville in Spain. 🇪🇸 🎶

Infurno was such a good time. I didn't take many photos, and that's a bit of a shame because of how beautiful everything was - glorious sunshine and a kaleidoscope of colour everywhere - but no photo could truly do it justice. It's an experience of beauty and joy. And it's wonderful. ❤️

I have mastered more powerful magic! With a rain summoning spell so powerful that it can summon a torrential downpour even on a bright, sunny, cloudless day. To cast this spell, I need only open the skylight, and sudden heavy rain will surely be summoned. 😜

Sometimes when I construct a music set, the music carries me towards its own destination: I'll start one way, but by exploring new songs and experimenting with where they might fit, I end up somewhere unexpected. And when I do, I like to run with it! This is how magic happens. 😁

These past few days, I've poured a lot of heart into an upcoming club set. Doing this is both exhilarating and emotionally exhausting, though more the former than the latter. It's an intense process, and I do it because my music is meant to be emotional. It's meant to make you feel.

Today I learnt that there is a cartoon film about anthropomorphic cats done in a psychedelic sixties Belle Époque art style that stars Judy Garland. No, really.

Now that summer is more or less upon us, I have many of my biggest projects out of the way. This means that the summer, for me, will be focused on music. I don't get any cons in summer, but I do get festivals and parties and concerts - and that's what I shall be focusing on. 😜

You've probably noticed that I haven't done much DJing in recent weeks. The month of May was more or less fully dedicated to The Wedding Singer and to ConFuzzled for me. Now that both are over, I'm immersing myself back in my music once again: I have a few live performances coming up for you! 🎶

Fursuiting in a heatwave is no joke. Even so, I made sure to get some fursuit time in at ConFuzzled, as I always aim to. But I certainly spent less time in suit than I otherwise might have. @ceilfox.bsky.social powerful blade fans work very well, but I can't stay in the fursuit lounge all day. 😜

I've now done... Fifteen furry cons: Seven ConFuzzleds, three Scotiacons, two Pawsomes, two Furcations, and a Wild North. And an overview glance at my calendar suggests that the pace is accelerating slowly but surely. 😜

There it is: I went to lie down, alone, and...it finally hit me that ConFuzzled is over. The tears that followed were my release. It's now a series of very happy memories, and a lingering sense of pleasant fatigue. I wouldn't trade this set of experiences for anything. ❤️

I'm home. It hasn't...really sunk in yet that it's over. This ConFuzzled has been absolutely amazing: I've been able to do some of everything I wanted to do, and spend time with a lot of my friends. That's really the most important part for me: the friends I get to share this experience with.
