Traditionally I would spend a couple of hours on New Year’s Eve writing up a bit of a year in review screenwipe and some thoughts for the coming year but 2025 was so bad for me from all angles I just want to forget it and make 2026 better. I found a lot of limits and learned to say no in 2025.

I’m no glazier but my elderly neighbour asked me to replace the window she fell against and I guess it’s the same reason the Sri Lankan folk ask me to do things that aren’t my remit, they are OK with me being inside their houses.
