Went to Dawlish Warren today and got the Lesser Crested Tern! very far views but luckily got it from the help of another birder! also got the Yellow Browed Warbler at the main pond which was very lucky since it’s been quite elusive :)

went to Tessier Garden to look for a Nuthatch, unfortunately i wasn’t patient enough to find one but i did get some great photos of some other awesome birds such as this Blackbird, Robin, Herring Gull and a sneaky Grey Squirrel!

and I went to Dawlish Warren and we got great views of a couple Kingfishers fishing in the main pond! this is my first time getting decent photos of a Kingfisher so i’m quite proud:)

and I visited dawlish warren and BGM today, we got our main target of curlew sand, plus a few other decent birds and total sp count 65 for the day. - 2 swallow & 10 mipit vismig, + 8 avocet, 2 whimbrel, 20 barwit, 6 greenshank, 3 ruff, 30+ pintail, 40 brent & 3 s tern

came to bowling green marsh today in search for the pectoral sandpiper, unfortunately it wasn’t there. But, we did see Snipe; Curlews; Bar-tailed Godwits; Wigeon; Teal; Black-headed Gulls; Little Egrets; Canada Geese; Ruff and quite a few more birds but little to no waders :/

found a handful of mushrooms on dawlish warren yesterday! Parasol, Sulphur Tuft and Spectacular Rustgill. Also found some other mushrooms but they aren’t easy to ID like some Boletes, Shields, Bracket Fungi and Rollrims.

went to bowling green marsh to finish off the day and found a couple little stints, a lot of curlews, black-tailed and bar-tailed godwits, wigeon, lapwings, redshank, teal and 6-7 glossy ibis’s fly over!!!

went to Dawlish Warren today in search for the juv Rosefinch but wasn’t able to find it. did find some other cool stuff though like this Devils Coach Horse Beetle and Silver Y :-)
