I’ve learned to tolerate the man who loses his baked beans on holiday by imagining that every time the advert comes on, he has gone on holiday again and his case of beans has been lost again. Every time he goes away they lose his beans.

Coo, never seen the canned version of Connect before I strode into a Warminster charity shop this afternoon. Smaller tiles than the boxed version, presumably so your tracks don’t end up falling off the table.

My window blind is making life a Pink Panther cartoon. I get it straight, turn away & it slips down on one side. I fix it, tiptoe out of the room, & as soon as I’m out of sight it slips again. If I nailed it, the nails would quietly pop out. If I got a new one it would slide while I was admiring it.
