I don't know who needs to hear this but autistic people, especially women, make up a surprisingly high proportion of patients with eating disorders, tend to benefit less from standard treatments, and many do not have an autism diagnosis at the time they're in treatment for an eating disorder.

The findings from this research are important for 3 reasons - Harm from drinking in pregnancy shown at relatively low levels half a bottle of wine/2 pints/wk. - This harm is masked by other factors, but it's still there. - Teachers are "seeing" this harm at reception age they just don't know it.
