Any Federal spending at this point should be directed by a bankruptcy judge. The Trump administration should have no ability to make decisions to prioritize spending one way or the other. A judicial panel should direct and prioritize based on public health and safety.

The Attorney General’s blue state need to band together and file a lawsuit requesting that a panel of judges act as a bankruptcy trustee for federal spending during the remainder of the shutdown.

At this point, the judge is acting like a bankruptcy trustee. At least Trump should be familiar with that process.
