Some relief at the statement about maintaining the club and its heritage. But mainly it’s a sense of foreboding about being owned by some faceless organisation that has no ties to the city or club, and which appears all too ready to ditch the club it currently owns.

Bad. I don't think there's any winners here. I don't want to support a club that exists at the cost of the Ospreys and their supporters, players, staff etc. I don't trust the new owners and have zero faith they have Cardiff's interests (other than financial) at heart.

Dirty

Hollow. Fundamentally, our apparent new owners appear to have operated in an underhand way to achieve their (& WRU’s) goal. Treated their current employees appallingly & bring me little confidence that Cardiff won’t be equally shafted in the future.

Another day of rumour, fairly meaningless statements and a few bombshells thrown in. Ultimately we seem set to end up with Y11 as owners but remaining Cardiff in Blue & Black at CAP. How are we feeling from a Cardiff perspective?

You see, WRU? It’s about people. Livelihoods. Understanding the consequences & emotions involved. That’s where your focus should be.
