There wasn't just one team whipping out stepping front rowers on Saturday! Big chance for him to lay down a marker with Liam Belcher away with Cymru and he started well with a typically all-action showing and a good lineout.

This is absolutely spot on. Staying at four and hoping for a change in fortune or vaguely urging the WRU to invest is not a good enough alternative, there needs to be a proper plan to rally around.

Thought Harri Millard stepped up well as an experienced head in a younger and smaller back line. Put himself about in defence and took on the short line a few times in attack. We're still not quite working that 13 channel properly in attack though.

Ulster 21-14 Cardiff Finally caught up! Frustrating watch simply because that game was there to be won but the Blue & Blacks just couldn’t string enough good play together. Individual errors and some lack of cohesion after changes, but kept cutting us down just as we got going.

Thought Ioan Lloyd had a stormer coming off the bench at half-time to slot in at full-back in tough conditions. Good under the high ball, solid in defence and kicked his goals. Great to see him back fit and firing.

Once again the English-based players are in for training at the start of the first week of camp. No English Prem games this weekend or in the fallow week, they might not miss a training session the entire tournament.

George Nott got through a good amount of grunt work on a night where the tight five needed to step up. 9 carries, 10 tackles, 3 lineout claims, and a couple of loose balls. This tackle was a huge one early on with Andy Uren almost clean through.
