Opinion: Europe should partner with Ukraine to develop two very-low cost Patriot alternatives. 2 because contingency is smart and best case they complement each other. Europe to include Switzerland and UK Switzerland and Denmark particularly Avoid stupid requirements arguments and politics

There are also some areas for routine local Northern Fleet activity and what possibly could be test activity in the White Sea. Both SLBM and ICBM to Kura with overlapping time-frames might indicate a coordinated event, but there might also be alternative explanations.

It looks busy, but: Those for SS-N-23 from the Barents to Kura have been issued again, for the 15th to 20th. Those from the Barents into Chiza have also been reissued for next week. New today indicating Yars from Plesetsk to Kura, 14th to 20th.

On 12 May Il-76MD-90A(E) CANDID (with air-to-air refueling capability) RA-78650 took off from Moscow (ZIA) and was last tracked flying towards Novaya Zemlya with a possible destination of Rogachevo Airbase. Coincidentally (or not) Il-114 RA-54116 also appears to be en route to Rogachevo.

Absolutely comical stuff here - apparently a H145M cannot lift "groups of soldiers". Someone needs to explain that to the German's I guess. The H145M is not a replacement for the existing AW139s.

Ireland has signed the Artemis Accords, becoming the 66th country to do (and the last of the 23 ESA member states). I was invited to the ceremony at NASA HQ but couldn't make it. Even so, I'm proud that Ireland has joined this group of nations in pursuit of the peaceful exploration of space!

A while since a "Lago di" vessel transited the Irish sea: Lago di Ledro & Lago di Como made *slightly* odd stops off Dublin when coming from Russian ports in previous months. Lago di Cancano (IMO: 9659787) is currently transiting north from Algeria to Murmansk. None of the vessels are sanctioned.
