One month from now and I'll finally be flying to England. Will be meeting friends that I've talked to for almost a decade. It's also going to be my first non- convention vacation in 10 years as well. I'm so damn excited.

Nearly had a heart attack last night. I was at a light and looked in my rear view mirror. I thought 2 scooters were one car, and I thought the vehicle behind me was about to get destroyed. 😭😭😭💀💀💀

Visiting family in PA. I wish I appreciated how quiet and beautiful it was here, but this place doesn't bring back the best memories. Would love to bring someone here who would truly love it here.

A bit late posting this, but Tuesday I went to a pro tennis tournament for the first time. I walked past some of the best players in the world, and it was so cool. I even got to watch Venus Williams on center court. Amazing time!

Took a walk in the rain yesterday and it started to pour, but it felt really refreshing. I should do it more.

One weird thing I saw at Anthrocon was someone's young daughter was worriedly looking up at her dad while he was taking pictures of dakis in the dealers den. Like...c'mon man. Do that in private online or something.

Feeling really good about myself today.

It's always an adventure in the kitchen when you're with @zech.willfuckyour.dad & I, and @carafe.bsky.social is a great helper! This is so stinkin' sweet, and Carafe is such a gem and lovely artist! We're planning on framing this and hanging it in our dining room. <3 <3 <3

Got to spend some time with my old roommates and some friends in Southern Virginia. It was a great weekend ^^ Kinda kicking myself i didn't take any pics.

Tournament was rained out half way through my first match. Going back into today ready to play up to 4 matches if I make it to the final. Someone carry me home please x.x

It's been a very weird year work wise. I am very lucky to be in an environment that I enjoy being in. I actually look forward to coming into the office when I have to. The new administration took 2/3 of us out and my director is retiring after today. Quite the wakeup call.

Currently having an internal battle on whether 2025 is a good or bad year so far. Today, a strong tug in the good direction. I AM DEBT FREE 🎉🎉🎉 Gotta celebrate all the positives when they come.

Played 3 tennis matches this week and lost all of them. I definitely could have played better, but I'm playing in a division higher than my player level and my matches were pretty close. Could improve, but I'm overall happy.

It is so hard to describe how amazing today was. My club was without a domestic trophy for 70 years, and we broke the drought today. Many happy tears were shed. 🥲

Pretty down today. Pulled my hamstring early on in a match against a really rude and disrespectful opponent. Most would say "you'll bounce back and get him next time" but my competitive side is seething.

Had a truly amazing weekend. Friends from Philly came down, got a hotel in DC and did some museums, brewery for dinner, then went to a gay bar where the entire place was singing along to musicals, Disney, and classic songs. Then had KBBQ for the first time with a group of friends. Great birthday💙💙💙💙

Welp, I came into the tournament swinging and tumbled out disappointingly. But I learned a lot and I think fitness played a big part in my downfall. I think this year I'm going to focus on getting in good shape.

Day 2 did not go so hot. I beat myself in the first match and the second match I lost to who I suspect is going to win it all. Tomorrow starts playoffs. Wish me luck

Day 1 down in the Miami tournament. Ended the day 2-0, and I'm just so shocked but proud of myself. We go back tomorrow with 2 more matches. LET'S GOOO!

All night, I was trying to be positive. Consoling those who were panicking early, but I always had a pit in my stomach. I always had the 2016 feeling. I'm now awake with absolute dread. Where are we going to be in 4 years? How many rights will be taken away?

I was in a meeting with a coworker today, and very suddenly she talked about how her and another coworker agreed that they see me moving up quickly here and that they admire my attitude and work ethic. It really made my whole week.
