2024 in Film Part Three: Sexy Screens In my last post, I mentioned that there were some striking (see what I did there?) occurrences of head trauma in films this year. Another notable feature was sexuality. Mainstream cinema has been somewhat chaste in recent years, with sexuality largely sidelined despite the beautiful bodies often on display. However, it may be that sexuality is creeping back in, greater openness defying conservatism.
