Thinking about my guatemalan music teacher back in school and how cool it was of him to write the date both in the normal western way AND in mayan. That detail always stuck with me, awesome teaching. I sucked at music tho but that's on me and unrelated.

Took us more than expected but my partner and I re-watched the trilogy's extended version to celebrate the occasion, what an inspiring work of art, an absolute classic hands down 🙂‍↕️✨

New Year celebrations are cool and all but buckle up folks, the real holiday is upon us, JRR Tolkien's birthday is around the corner! Almost time to raise a glass for the professor 🥂 (I usually go for apple cider, since I don't usually drink alcohol)

I'm not entirely sure what I want to do artwise in 2025, I ~feel~ I want to go more and more traditional, try riso, do more printmaking so those desires may build the way, I hope.
