Here's a mad thing I decided to do a few months ago... learn to drive, in my forties! Already passed my Theory and have had my first few hours of private lessons this week. Any other drivers, or folk who have considered it?

Still have my 35p mini comic! I know neither of you are Ren and Stimpy fans but there was a REEEEALLY great R&S time travel "choose your own adventure comic" where, because it could repeat pages, the story was longer than the actual comic. I was *obsessed *with it

A new low for innocuous injuries that come with age - I hurt my knee whilst simply *standing at the toilet* last night. I wasn't even moving! What's the least athletic way you've caused yourself harm in your midlife or later?

Drew this a few years back to celebrate completing the incredible ‘Red Dead Redemption 2‘. There is a colour version but, with my comics background, I always tend to prefer the lineart!

I was such a big fan of the Adam and Joe Show that I spent literal months of my adult life animating clips from their radio show.

Tip for anyone working on an iPad or similar in this 'orrible hot weather: I use one of these twistable neck fans underneath to stop it from completely turning into a red hot slab.

Here’s a strip/series I pitched to The Phoenix a few years back... possibly too dark an ending for a kid’s comic, in hindsight. 😅

when I was at Primary School Dairylea Triangles were *definitely* something my and my friends had to endure as a "snack" in our lunchboxes. I feel aggrieved now I know they may not have been intended to be eaten that way!

No 💗 I know about 50% of comics people will just sign anything put in front of them (you keep several crappy publishers in business by doing that) but 1) you should stop that and 2) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES let an AI summarize your contract. The devil, as they say, is in the details

so thanks for that! Been a fan of
@hotelfred.bsky.social
ever since I saw his Red Dwarf comic in the Smegazine as a kid so a joy to draw one (or two!) of his characters.

Well that was flipping INCREDIBLE. 12th time seeing NIN live and this was by far the most experimental, weird and unpredictable show I've ever seen them put on. There was even a rave in the middle FFS...!
