I have tried to explain this to so many of my friends and family, who oppose renewables and yet, complain about the cost of electricity in the UK. But, as I have learned from Iain McGilchrist, human bias is the main driving factor in decision making. Once a bias is set in, it is hard to remove it.

I won't be popular for agreeing with this article. But I do. I am witnessing a rise in populist, utopian rhetoric by the left. And I am seeing a trend, that if someone on the left, like me, doesn't agree with a tactic, we are shamed. Being at the top of the moral pyramid won't fix our issues.
