I’ve had an outstanding 4-day weekend, with two days at TRNSMT, and I’m now ready to get back to work tomorrow.

Another big week ahead coming; dismissal hearing, an employment review, new tattoo, and a mountain of paperwork to catch up on. I know what I’m looking forward to the most tho.

Also; ate Plov yesterday and went to see Leftfield. Good day all round. Leftfield are still the Bestfield.

So. 3 hearings, all members happy with the outcomes achieved. 1 outstanding outcome was fudged but we’ll take it as can build on it. Settlement dispute didn’t land where we had hoped but is still acceptable. Bonus; had an appeal outcome land too. Great week. Join a union.

Good week at work. Had an appeal for a Member who was dismissed earlier this year and it was upheld, with their employment reinstated with immediate effect and pay backdated. It’s doesn’t happen often and it was one helluva fight, but was worth it.

Before crowbars were invented crows just drank at home.

Had a brilliant action packed four days off and I’m ready to have another day off tomorrow. Gotta love public holidays.
