Spent the day sorting out a sudden blue bottle infestation at Mr R's house. After some detecting we think the wood pigeon, who usually nests on the disused chimney, may have passed away in it's nest & may have dripped down the chimney 💀. Hopefully it's all sorted now. How was your day? 😬

After his stunt roll tother night I noticed Wee Man out of his bed during the morning. So he spent Sunday afternoon being kidnapped to the vets. Where he was diagnosed with a sore hip but otherwise in v good health. He had an x-ray & painkiller all for free & was moving better last night.

A choose your own bowl adventure, to combat the heat Blistered beans, steamed potatoes, peas and corn, baked tofu, roasted chickpea/olive seitan, black beans with tomato, oregano and lime zest, cumin roasted carrots and brown rice. With either lemon vinaigrette or tofu/miso dressing. My assemblage!

Pushed on with the burn out but managed to have one of the nicest days yesterday that I've had in a while. Lovely to spend some precious time with eldest stepson & his lovely partner before they jet off again 🥰 Bpm has risen & HRV has dropped, so staying in bed all day today 😄. Worth it though ❤️
