was remembering this Nin Andrews poem yesterday in BAP 2001 edited by Robert Hass, and how as a teenager mainly fed the likes of Neruda and Frost and cummings and Hughes I... didn't know poems could *do* this. Online poetry back then was mainly message boards. My poetry exposure was my book store.

Re: 2024 stats. Wrote. Submitted. Did well until May. Things got hard: new baby, no sleep, work stress, relationship stress. Really struggled creating. The poems are still there, in the corners of my eyes like ghosts. In 2025 I’ll try listening to them instead of turning to look.

The bulk of my creative efforts in 2024 went into long form projects (podcast, tv pilot & novel), only one of which is available now (Woodbine podcast!), but I also published a poem this year and feel very tenderly about it. www.eavesdropmagazine.ca/issue-2/kell...
