I love that world, but when I started it very much fell into "generic eurocentric" territory, which I've since revised to be much more diverse, and I'm proud of that, but now 1/2

Played Monsterhearts 2 last night for the first time and had a blast. It was just a one shot but the game was amazing and my fellow players were fantastic. I'm so glad that my idea of the Queen playbook as a marching band drum major worked so well. #ttrpg #monsterhearts

#larp Playing a Taìno bohique NPC interacting with modern people and spontaneously hitting them with "my people were destroyed by people who look like you" and just... I could feel my ancestors smiling. Uncomfortable stories are often the ones that most need to be told.

The times are troubling, what's ahead may be worse, but we can choose each other now and be at forefront of positive change. This may seem strange coming from the person best known for creating dark stories, but even in tales of dread we see the value of pushing back against the darkness.

You know your #larp villain fucked up when the players find out that they (the villain) pissed off a couple of the scariest characters in the setting.

It's alarming, and we must choose each other now. Take mental and emotional health breaks as you need to. Pick just a few things you care deeply about and give those your attention. They want you to feel this way, like whatever you do, it won’t matter. Do not give them this power.

Finally watched Agatha All Along, I get it now.

#ttrpg #DnD5e Gave my storm sorcerer player the chance to fly with an arclight Phoenix in order to empower his unique artifact, and I could hear the joy through our voice call. Makes it all worth it.

#larp Nothing will be as satisfying as, while playing the BBEG, switching from one weapon style to another that I'm arguably more well known for, and having players visibly back up in fear.

I've now run two separate major long-term #larp plot finale events at two different larps in the same year. Gonna sleep for a week.
