This basically fits what @milesofficial.bsky.social wrote for us in the rise of isekai: the fans by majority don't participate in the community.

Going to comment on this as someone that helped launch a K-Comics portal last year. The crowd that watches Solo Leveling isn't the same crowd that reads it and buys the chapters on WEBTOON. Two very distinct demographics are in play with very little crossover in anime fandom.
