Finally managed to reconnect my HP 2810e printer to the wifi network after something of a struggle - and so of course it won't print anything readable. Seems to have gone for a random series of rectangular stripes. Anyone know what's causing this because HP's Customer (dis)Service haven't a clue! 😠

Feeling flat and empty today. Leaving aside health issues, I have had no visitors all day except my care workers and still lack focus to concentrate or create anything. Even a chip butty with ketchup didn't cheer me up as much as usual 😢 New bed arriving tomorrow - fingers crossed it goes smoothly.

One of my sisters lives on a hill abover Weymouth Bay and can just about see the Russian tanker detained by the Royal Marines this morning. She's now watching like a hawk through binoculars and she's seen 4 different helicopters over the ship since it all kicked off. Keeps her busy I suppose 😎

Second deep physio session and chat of the week reveals much more work to be done, and if I don't do my share of the heavy lifting there's a small chance my legs could need surgery 🤨 Not having any more of that so when I get my new exercise regime I will be all over it!

Any of my chums able to help Clarky out? I've no idea what thiis is.

Recovery update - after some to-ing and fro-ing between various NHS departments I actually qualify to have a fully adjustable modern hospital bed in my own home. This will make a lot of things much easier for me and for the (mostly) wonderful people who are looking after me 😎

Three phone calls in the last 40 minutes from various NHS departments all asking me questions about things that THEY are supposed to be dealing with on my behalf. Urgh!

I know I'm not fully recovered from my bout of illness but I'm pretty sure I shouldn't be totally knackered after trimming my beard! Haven't even finished properly 🙄

Well, the nurses visited and Pico device was fitted. Apart from a wire that connects it to a battery & control pack that fits in a normal pocket or clips to a belt it feels just like a regular dressing, which in my case is in the "hardly notice it" category 🙂
