I stood behind Keanu Reeves in line at the Mayfair Market late one night after work and he was lovely to the cashier but when he sort of smiled at me, I froze.

Self-published my YA crime novel. Joined with friends in creating a publishing imprint and have a slate of books for 2026. My second Bouchercon. Good number of short fiction and pop culture pieces published. In 2026, we'll publish my next novel and continue to boost other writers.

I read once (wish I could remember where) that people most enjoy watching/reading about competence and, damn, that is true.

I seem to be in the minority but WAKE UP DEAD MAN is my least favorite Benoit Blanc outing so far. Definitely worth watching but a bit drab compared to the first two films. Also, it never made sense that Josh Brolin's character would attract the congregation that he had. 🤷‍♀️
