Wine Chicago I was reading Drops of God on a flight into O'hare and had a moment of inspiration. All rigged up with Dominik Ruckli's Match Size Modifier capsule. Plus a procedural meniscus. #C4D #Redshift #AfterEffects

A quick BTS of the wine transition. Dominik Ruckli's match size capsule keeps a cube at the right size and position at the center of the wine mesh. Then I boolean them. You can see a plane showing the tracked footage FOV parented to the surface. I morph between the two cameras!

C4D Tip. If using the Point xpresso node with a primitive object, use a child correction deformer as the object input instead of the primitive. It won't work otherwise.

Finally got around to modifying Mikey Borup's After Effects Tutorial to mosaic a lack-of-detail instead of luma.

Iteration = time to build, rethink and refine existing material. Change = new parameters that require new solutions/script. Change does not build upon ideas, it swaps them for new ones, demanding everyone involved in the process to react and restart based upon this new premise. 4/9

Opened up the After Effects Beta this morning and got a tip of the day from a very smart and incredibly handsome individual.

Spent hours crafting a Google Earth Studio animation only for chrome to crash and lose ALL progress. Why does earth studio need to be a webapp if it's not saving to the cloud? Why doesn't it save changes like google docs or resolve? Why create a project file up front if it isn't saved?
