Wanted to spend the long weekend finishing my GenCon scenarios. Ended up sleeping 11-13 hours a day, reading Christopher Ruocchio's The Sun Eater and listening to Kardashev.

Fixing teeth is such a pain in the ass. I am more than halfway in my Invisalign treatment and I'm tired of it. The worst part is that when I take the trays out even for 30 mins to eat, when I put them back my teeth hurt because they've already shifted back 🥲

Hot take, but... I don't think that people talking to or having relationships with AI is a problem. Relationships are hard. We're living during a loneliness pandemic. Let people find some comfort, life is hard as it is. I know folks who are genuinely doing better due to this.

I was planning to travel to Prague this June for a week but... well, you know. Unfortunately, tickets are non refundable. I do have an option to change them though... Any recommendations for places in the US? Honestly, I just need a week to do nothing productive, relax, read, walk around.

In today's loot: Outgunned and its supplement Outgunned Adventure! The original game is geared to emulate classic movie action from Mission Impossible to Fast & Furious and so on. The supplement adds rules to play Indiana Jones and Mummy style adventures. Heard a lot of good things about the system.

The One-Armed Scissor is a month overdue for docking. It's nothing, people tell themselves. Ships are delayed often here. But there was that rootquake that shifted the trade routes.. And that cache of ruined books, with their words run rampant and whispering. Perhaps there's reason to worry.

I'm running Wildsea this year!

So apparently people hate Doom 3? Yeah, it's a different game, but I loved it as a kid.

Does anyone use or familiar with tools or approaches to assess players for group compatibility? Apart from session 0, I'm thinking more in terms of weeding the players before inviting for Session 0. And apart from just talking to them. I mean a more structured tool.
