Sounds like the Kings refused to drop the protections on the picks. Takes makes zero fucking sense to me big picture. Who the hell cares about the pick protections. If it works, you're winning and that pick gets moved anyways if you're losing, you're trading Fox/Sabonis and getting picks back.

right now the org is going to do what is best for them and they initiated this by saying they are listening and not making any other moves
