I listened to the entire Star Turn album "Are You Affiliated" this afternoon. Made more sense than the speech that was going on at the time. Even the track which was just bingo being called.

Hue and Cry release "Labour of Love". Charts well. Makes a decent splash. They release the even better "Strength to Strength" and it staggers up to 46 after three weeks. Then they (re-)release the resentful and vitriolic "I Refuse" and it only makes 45. There was no logic in that.

Reviews are in and it's a mixed reception...

I'm currently doing a digital encode of an LP box set for a friend of mine. We're on side two of the final disc and after a dozen tries, i've got it to play without skipping.... ((((and don't judge me)))) and managed to inaudibly take the 5p piece off the arm.
