Literally every UFO sighting in the past was attributable to the U-2, SR-71, or other aviation operations. I see no reason to believe this is anything different. People are just hyped up over things they never noticed before.

After meeting Charlie Precourt, my determination to go into the space industry only grew. I was more proud of getting the Young Astronaut Award than anything else in 6th Grade. Spoke briefly with NASA's Jim Free after his keynote this morning at the Cislunar Security Conference. He said to expect an update on Artemis 2 preparations soon. No news, though, on who will be the incoming Trump admin's agency review team for NASA; not named yet but maybe by the end of the week.

This is completely incoherent. Any country can issue a currency, and most do. Trump himself is issuing a currency. Countries chose to use the U.S. dollar in international trade for a variety of reasons, and the practice comes with both pros and cons for the U.S. economy.

At career day for my kids’ school last week, one of the “scavenger hunt” questions was if you’d been in your job for 10+ years. I’ve been in the #space industry for 22+ years now! Post-vacation, I’m inspired to work on a series of skeets for #BlueSpace sharing some of those experiences.

Six decades later, Star Trek may still be the only franchise based on the ideas that diversity is strength, justice is the measure of civilization, bounty is to be shared, peace is worth the price, and all these things can be achieved. We need more shows that look ahead and find goodness.

10 years ago today, Made In Space 3D printed the first object off-world. We were cheering them on at the ISS National Lab. I had no idea I’d join the team just over a year later, work with amazing people like @maxfagin.bsky.social, and push the boundaries of science. Grateful to have been a part.
