Because the app moved so fast, gave us so much access, and surrounded us with men all doing the same thing, that we never stopped to ask: wait, would I accept this from anyone in my real life?Blocking instead of a simple “I’m not interested”?Sending nudes before you even know someone’s name?Paying for an app that treats you like a product listing?Having sex and then becoming strangers?In any other area of your life, these things would be red flags. On Grindr, they became the rules.I’m not here to shame anyone for using the app. I’ve been on it. I understand the pull.
