I've realized recently that I am doing this administration's job for them by allowing distrust and fear to leave me emotionally isolated and overcome with self-doubt and loathing. We're better than that. We're stronger than that. I need to remember that we have a community.

TLDR: There is nothing enforceable for the immediate future. It will take months or years to implement this via rulemaking or bureaucratic changes which are then subject to legal challenge. While it's worrying, there's no immediate change yet for most trans people. Do not comply in advance.

So, I low-key feel like I haven't quite figured out how to effectively use this platform, (yet.) I didn't really use Twitter, even before the Musk takeover, and I sort of missed the Tumblr years somehow and went straight from LiveJournal to Facebook & Instagram. I'm still learning! 😅

Is it just me, or do many of these cabinet picks have like... comically evil-looking features? The brows, the eyes, the frowns... maybe it's just confirmation bias, but every time I see one of them, I feel really uneasy.

It seems like a simultaneously terrible and necessary time to potentially try to be on stages again to share perspectives. If I did, would you want to see it? 😅
