Prime 4 obviously had a very hard dev cycle and I think it mostly sticks the landing but combat really need to innovate next time It's always been merely serviceable in Metroid Prime and instead of improving the pillar there's somehow more of it

Late thoughts on the Direct: Mario Galaxy Movie looks incredible Mario Galaxy ports are cool but overpriced Mario Tennis looks pretty good Metroid Prime 4 stole the show Hyrule Warriors is cool, I'll get it on a sale. cool direct 5/10. really not a big fan of the direction nintendo is going in

This is a small detail that not many people will care about, but I really like the new format of Nintendo Directs in the Switch 2 era. The music, animations, and transitions are so clean.

Sonic Racing Crossworlds first impressions: -It feels really nice to control -Track layouts are basic but still fun -Crossworlds gimmick is really fun and makes every race feel different -It felt fast! -Graphics are great too For the first time Sonic might have outdone Mario at his own game 🤯

Finished Shantae and the Pirates Curse. It's definitely one of my favourite games of all time now. Pros: -Movement using Risky's items is AMAZING. -Music is really good -Gorgeous Pixel Art -Risky.. Cons: -Game ends too quickly I struggled to think of any cons, it's fantastic.

Shantae and the Pirates Curse’s soundtrack is actually so fucking good dude. Every track I’ve heard so far is A - S Tier.

Drag X Drive is horrible. Controls really badly.

Beat Metroid Prime Remastered after many an attempt. It’s a fantastic game once you get into it. Only things I didn’t like is the amount of backtracking at the end to get each artifact and getting lost a lot. Other than that it’s really good. 7/10

Direct was alright. Wasn't bad but wasn't amazing either. I'd say a solid 6/10.

Just finished Donkey Kong Bananza 100%. It’s a phenomenal game with some of the best level design and gimmicks the genre has seen. Is it better than Odyssey? It’s complicated. Playing through the games story is way better but 100%ing Odyssey is a better time imo. 10/10

Donkey Kong Bananza is RIDICULOUSLY good, and should have been the Switch 2 launch title. There's no exaggeration: this is the Yoshi's Island to Mario Odyssey's Super Mario World; a top tier prequel-sequel that plays both alike and different while being debatably even better as a whole. It ROCKS.

Almost fully 100%ed Donkey Kong Bananza. I think 100%ing Odyssey is way more fun personally. The smaller worlds of Odyssey make it more enjoyable to run around and find moons. While in Bananza I've ran around the layers multiple times and still needed to buy maps.

Donkey Kong Bananza reminds me why I love Nintendo man. Genuinely feels like everything they’ve learnt from the last 40 years put into 1 game It’s my favourite game of all time. ALSO ADD SMALLINE INTO MARIO KART WORLD PLEASEEEEE

Just 100%ed Super Mario Odyssey again. Will forever be my favourite game of all time. It’s such a masterpiece and I hope Donkey Kong Bananza will be just as great as this game ❤️

Whenever Nintendo makes an unpopular change or update to the game, I usually see a flock of people defending it saying “I actually prefer this mode/option”. Just because YOU like or prefer that option doesn’t mean that other people will, the thing people are mad about is the LACK of options.

Mario Kart World is actually an 11/10 and I'd love to be convinced otherwise.

If you’re leaving Bluesky because you can’t gain enough engagement and clout from your posts, then that says A LOT about your ego and narcissism taking priority over the well-being of others who actually took refuge from the hateful and vitriolic rhetoric they’ve suffered from the bird app.

Splatoon getting a spin off in my opinion makes it Nintendo's 3rd biggest franchise now behind Zelda and Mario. Insane that a series that started on Wii U has become so popular.
