I wanted to wait for @novavax.bsky.social, but I'm worried that I'm not going to be able to get any covid vaccine after the 18th. So I got Pfizer and my flu shot today. I brought my brother, and the Parkinson's patient for whom I serve as caregiver and we all got our shots at the same time.

I just checked with my local CVS and Walgreens here in Kansas City's Waldo neighborhood at 75th and Wornall. The Walgreens has Pfizer and Moderna but does not plan to get Novavax. The CVS doesn't have anything, they may be coming in "a few weeks". No idea what ones they'll be getting.

My late wife Vickie and I were "lucky" to both be old enough to qualify for Medicare and poor enough to qualify for Medicaid. We fought stage 4 small cell lung cancer for 18 months. I lost her in the end, but at least I'm not in medical debt. Everyone deserves this.
