I don’t see much snow coming from this cold event unless we lock in colder air. As always hovering within 3-5° so not ideal. Obviously time to change but not many runs going for anything other than an average cold brief interlude

I wonder the Met Office will ever sort their App out. Here I am shown I am in a yellow area for possible snow showers overnight into the 2nd Jan. yet their app shows no sign for snow. No wonder people ignore things.

And that is the end of the chances of snow for SE UK on Xmas day. Even the GFS model has stopped the colder blob of air getting in. Stays in northern France.

Interesting to see some models runs going for some snow showers late on Christmas Day in the SE.
