Our ongoing bathroom renovation has definitely made me realize that I’m not the kind of person who should buy a home that requires a lot of work. All of the dust everywhere and the overall mess is really bothering me.

I love how you can type something into the search field in the Xcode documentation browser and nothing happens, no loading indicator, no nothing, and then, just when you’re about to start wondering if the window is frozen, the search results pop up.

Preordered an iPhone 17 Pro in silver. Almost went with the base model now that it has ProMotion, and I think it looks better, but didn’t want to lose camera features.

Thinking about preordering a new phone on Friday, and now that they have ProMotion, I’m tempted to go with the base model. I think it looks better than the Pro, and it would be nice to have a lighter phone. I’m just not sure how much I’d miss the telephoto lens and the screen size of my 15 Pro Max.

After having used it for a few days on my main phone, I quite like the new minimal design of Safari on iOS 26, but there has to be a better way to make things legible than the automatic switching between light and dark mode.

I’ve been spending some time during my vacation working on a few updates for my website. It’s been refreshing, and it definitely feels a lot more “lightweight” compared to app development.

I don’t know if I’m completely sold on the confirmation dialogs in iOS 26. The morphing animation looks pretty nice, but the light gray button inside the white capsule does look a bit out of place.
