I consult Google maps before I go to the grocery store… The fact that they didn’t even look at Google maps before bombing a school of little girls makes my blood boil

We can hold two events in our minds: 1. a war was started and a head of state was deposed, and 2. Women and girls were treated monstrously, and they need justice, the predators need to be punished by the law.

AI is trying to replicate what happens with human brain activity, but we have no idea what is happening to our brains when we sleep… that’s 1/3 of our lives. We know that it is a sort of trashcan, memory solidifier, and portal to the subconscious… But most of it is a mystery.

I was listening to Peter Thiel go on about his obsession to live forever… I work with a lot of old people. Usually, when their people have died, they’re ready to go. I don’t know many people in their 90s who want to live forever.

Liberal Christians believe in the Jewish religion as valid, life-giving, & wise. Most evangelicals believe that Jewish people are going to hell and must believe in Jesus Christ. But conservative E’s manipulate the media. They paint themselves as defenders of Jewish people & liberals as anti-Semitic.

Fundamentalist/evangelical theology believes in a future dispensation of history where Israel will be a nation. They will engage in an apocalyptic war. This is a set up for the return of Jesus. Jesus will win, Jewish people will convert, and there will be peace for a thousand years.

An understanding of religious institutions could benefit civil society. The sort of takeover that we see with project 2025 has been enacted in our denominations since the 80s. The playbook is the same. It’s a large part of why our denominations are either more conservative or weaker.
